Mercor is recruiting US & UK-based US-qualified Labor & Employment Lawyers for a research project with a leading frontier AI lab. — We are seeking experienced lawyers who are qualified to practice law in the United States and have professional experience in a Labor & Employment / Employment Law practice group. Candidates must be based in the United Kingdom or the United States and have experience advising on or reviewing corporate workplace policies. — This project will involve creating, reviewing, and evaluating realistic legal and workplace policy scenarios, leveraging your experience with employment law, HR policies, compliance, and corporate advisory work. — Ideal candidates have experience with one or more of the following: • Corporate workplace policies • Employee handbooks and HR policy review • Labor and employment advisory work • Workplace investigations • Discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and accommodation policies • Wage and hour compliance • Termination, discipline, and employee relations matters • Multi-jurisdictional employment law issues • Employment law support for multinational companies — Preferred candidates have experience at one or more of the following firms: • Baker McKenzie • Littler • Seyfarth Shaw • Squire Patton Boggs • Ogletree Deakins • Morgan Lewis • Paul Hastings • Proskauer • A&O Shearman • Hogan Lovells • Gibson Dunn • Latham & Watkins • Mayer Brown • Jones Day • Skadden • Or another leading law firm with a strong Labor & Employment / Employment Law practice — The vetting process involves: • Resume and work history screen • Short interview evaluating Labor & Employment law and workplace policy expertise — Please note: Candidates must be based in the United Kingdom or the United States, have the right to work in the United Kingdom or the United States, and be US-qualified lawyers.
