About the Role — Mercor is hiring experienced Industrial Engineers to help evaluate and improve cutting-edge AI systems. In this role, you'll evaluate AI-generated industrial engineering content and workflows, leveraging your real-world expertise in designing production systems, quality control, and process optimization. — Key Responsibilities • Evaluate AI-generated production plans, process designs, quality analyses, and other industrial engineering artifacts for quality and accuracy. • Compare AI-generated responses head-to-head based on engineering rigor, process efficiency, and quality-control soundness. • Review industrial engineering scenarios involving production sequencing, cost analysis, quality standards, and logistics coordination and provide expert feedback. — Required Qualifications • 4+ years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, Process Engineer, Quality Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, Operations Engineer, or another closely related industrial engineering role. • Experience designing, developing, or evaluating integrated production systems including quality control, inventory control, logistics, cost analysis, or production coordination. • Ability to commit 20+ hours per week. • Strong written English communication skills. — Additional Information • Start date: Immediate • Duration: Approximately 4–6 weeks • Payment: task-based (payment upon first task approval). Experts who complete their first task within the required timeline will then be qualified to be paid hourly for the remainder of the project.
