Mercor is hiring experienced Musicians to evaluate generative musical AI models in partnership with a leading AI lab. — You will assess model outputs across in different categories of music in your bilingual language. — Key Responsibilities • Evaluate AI model output lyrics, voice generation, and other standards • Score quality of musical training data • Experience writing music in the domain language listed in the title • Able to understand directions in English language • Rate AI-generated music samples head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality, using audio-engineering terminology • Annotate songs in detail: genre/sub-genre classification, song structure, vocal/instrumental characteristics via a structured taxonomy — Ideal Qualifications • Experience working as a music producer, audio engineer, and/or sound mixer for at least 3+ years • Evidence of understanding musical performance, theory, and lyrics • College degree in music, involving both performance, theory, and lyrics • Past experience writing lyrical music in the domain language listed in the title • Native or near-native proficiency in English — Project Timeline • Start Date: Immediate • Duration: Up to 6 months • Commitment: Part-time, 10+ hours per week — Application & Onboarding • Upload your resume and application form • Complete a 25-minute conversational interview on your background, experience, and motivations • Receive next steps and onboarding details within a few days — Apply today and put your musical expertise to work! — We consider all qualified applicants without regard to legally protected characteristics and provide reasonable accommodations upon request.
