About the Role — Mercor is hiring experienced Lawyers to help evaluate and improve cutting-edge AI systems. In this role, you'll evaluate AI-generated legal content and workflows, leveraging your real-world expertise in litigation, legal drafting, and client advisory work. — Key Responsibilities • Evaluate AI-generated legal memoranda, contracts, case analyses, and other legal artifacts for quality and accuracy. • Compare AI-generated responses head-to-head based on legal reasoning, precedent application, and drafting rigor. • Review legal scenarios involving litigation strategy, statutory interpretation, and client advisory decisions and provide expert feedback. — Required Qualifications • 4+ years of experience as a Lawyer, Attorney, Counsel, General Counsel, Prosecutor, or another closely related legal practice role. • Experience representing clients in criminal and/or civil proceedings, drafting legal documents, or advising on legal transactions. • Ability to commit 20+ hours per week. • Strong written English communication skills. — Additional Information • Start date: Immediate • Duration: Approximately 4–6 weeks • Payment: task-based (payment upon first task approval). Experts who complete their first task within the required timeline will then be qualified to be paid hourly for the remainder of the project.
