About the Role — Mercor is hiring experienced Compliance Officers to help evaluate and improve cutting-edge AI systems. In this role, you'll evaluate AI-generated compliance content and workflows, leveraging your real-world expertise in examining laws, regulations, and licensing standards, and in enforcement inspection and analysis. — Key Responsibilities • Evaluate AI-generated compliance assessments, regulatory analyses, licensing reviews, and other enforcement artifacts for quality and accuracy. • Compare AI-generated responses head-to-head based on regulatory rigor, evidentiary soundness, and enforcement reasoning. • Review compliance scenarios involving eligibility determinations, license and permit review, violation reporting, and regulatory recommendations and provide expert feedback. — Required Qualifications • 4+ years of experience as a Compliance Officer, Compliance Analyst, Compliance Manager, License Examiner, Regulatory Affairs Specialist, or another closely related compliance or regulatory-enforcement role. • Experience examining, evaluating, or investigating eligibility for or conformity with laws, regulations, licenses, or permits, including preparing findings and enforcement reports. • Ability to commit 20+ hours per week. • Strong written English communication skills. — Additional Information • Start date: Immediate • Duration: Approximately 4–6 weeks • Payment: task-based (payment upon first task approval). Experts who complete their first task within the required timeline will then be qualified to be paid hourly for the remainder of the project.
